Wayne Center for the Arts

Wayne Center for the Arts strives to be relevant, accessible and affordable to Wayne County residents while also offering services and art programs of high quality. The Wayne Center for the Arts (WCA) can provide students with an immersive experience in not only the arts, but also grant writing, non-profit administration, program research and development, and a multitude of other things. The breadth of opportunities offered by the WCA encourages applicants from all majors. The efforts of the WCA’s missions are “enriching lives and strengthening communities through art”. This work often interfaces with social justice in creating connections, developing programming, and providing access to the arts for all members of the community.  This is done in part through partnerships with other local non-profit organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club and local YMCA.
