Fall Semester Course for Multilingual Students
Our English for Academic Purposes Course is a 1.0 credit course that prepares new international students for the transition into using Academic English in an American college setting. English for Academic Purposes gives multilingual students the opportunity to enhance their English language skills and move toward collegiate-level English. The course will introduce students to the conventions of academic English across all language domains: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Students will practice these conventions and incorporate language from their other courses to develop strategies of language- and vocabulary-learning that will assist them throughout their career at the College of Wooster.
When speaking with your ARCH advisor, make sure you mention this class to them. If you any additional questions about the class, including if it is right for you, schedule a meeting with a member of the Academic Resource Center.

Throughout the school year, you are welcome make personal appointments with a ML specialist in the Academic Resource Center. We can assist you with all of your academic questions!
