Professional Development Opportunities for Students
ELCE provides options for students to explore and gain experience throughout the academic year with funded programs and off-campus experiences over fall, winter and spring breaks. Over the course of a student’s Wooster education, they can receive Professional Development funding up to two times.
This funding is designed to support opportunities for students to gain training and skills that go beyond opportunities on campus.
Examples of this may include Wilderness First aid course for a student intending to go into outdoor education, EMT training for students going into health care, or career workshops.
