The Viola Startzman Clinic provides high-quality comprehensive care to patients in both the medical field and in the dental field. Working at the Viola Startzman Clinic (VSC) will be an immersive experience for students who have varying interests in healthcare, or in marketing, event planning, etc. The VSC needs students who are passionate about helping people and are highly motivated to work on their own and make community connections.
Although not required, VSC would benefit from students with fluency in Spanish. VSC wants interns to recognize that health is bigger than healthcare, and encompasses issues such as food access, a person’s living situation, mental health, and a range of other issues as well.
