United Way of Wayne and Holmes County seeks to mobilize community resources to help people measurably improve their lives. It serves as a hub for various community partners to help with poverty.
UWWH strives to support the individual interests of interns so that there is a mutually beneficial partnership, where the student has a positive professional experience in the work that they do. UWWH is very mission oriented centered around their core values and principles (such as honoring diversity, equity, and inclusion) and strives for all individuals, including interns, at their organization to share these values. UWWH needs students who can turn data into marketable stories that would provide a good background for fundraisers as they continue to raise funds for other local organizations such as OneEighty. They are looking for students with particular skills in data analysis, marketing, and/or early childhood education.
