The Department of Computer Science and Information Systems in the Sanders College of Business and Technology at the University of North Alabama (UNA) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in computer science or information technology beginning in August 2024 or January 2025. The department of computer science and information systems offers a BS in computer science, BS in information technology, BBA in computer information systems, and an MBA concentration in information systems. All undergraduate programs are ABET-accredited. The review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position has been filled.
Responsibilities may include undergraduate and graduate teaching, on-campus and online course delivery, academic advising, scholarly research, and university service. Involvement in professional organizations and engagement with the professional business community are encouraged.
An earned doctorate in computer science or information technology is required. ABDs will be considered if all degree requirements are met prior to appointment.
