Join the Subscription Growth Strategy team at National Geographic for the opportunity to learn how we develop and promote the award-winning National Geographic magazine. Our team handles all aspects of the product growth strategies including product promotions, marketing, and campaign management – and you will have the chance influence and contribute to how we position and promote our digital subscription offering to a new audience.
If selected, this intern will report to the Senior Manager, Subscription Growth Strategy for National Geographic Premium.
A Day in the Life…
- Develop a digital subscription product value proposition – and key benefits that resonate – to acquire college/university students
- Research and present on industry trends and competitive landscape for digital content subscriptions among students
- Identify actionable insights leveraging market research, proprietary and 3rd party data to grow student engagement with Nat Geo digital subscription
- Collaborate with the Sr. Growth Strategy manager to develop student acquisition campaign concepts and offering

- Ability to aggregate and synthesize information in a usable format.
- Manage simultaneous projects and prioritize task to meet deadlines.
- Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Suite, particularly in presentation development, including Power Point, Keynote, OR Google Docs.

- General interest in technology and innovation
Required Education:
To be eligible for this internship you must be a junior, senior or a recent graduate (within 6 months of your graduation date) pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Data Analysis or related field
Additional Details:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
- Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session
- Must be able to work on-site in Washington, DC and provide your own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship
- Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are May 2024 – August 2024. Candidate must be available to work 40 hours/week in Eastern Standard time for the duration of the internship
