ENTR 120 Introduction to Entrepreneurship

This course introduces students to the interdisciplinary world of entrepreneurship.  Emphasis is placed on the ideation process, how entrepreneurs generate new ideas that create value, and the process they use to implement those ideas.  The Opportunity Recognition framework, Creativity Process, Validation techniques, Business Model Canvas and Lean Startup approach will be the foundations for exploring this process.  The entrepreneurial attributes examined in this course have broad value that extend beyond the startup of a business to include developing sustainable solutions to any societal or market problem.
