Why you joined Pathways and how it affected your career journey: I joined Pathways to think more critically and intentionally build useful skills for my career. I may not have been too engaged with the Pathways but, I do feel like it has helped to construct some ‘scaffolding’ for me to use as I climb this academic ladder.
Other CoW experiences that impacted your career journey: Applied Methods & Research Experience (AMRE) and several key classes where I was able to investigate and analyze environmental conditions and how they interact uniquely with specific daily livelihoods
Current plans for next career steps (as of May 2025): I am planning to take a gap year to care of family and save for grad school. I hope to find a job in the meantime that connects community action with environmental awareness and justice, from local newsletter to city gov.
