My name is Tyler Rak, and I graduated from The College of Wooster in 2024. At Wooster, I was a political science and history double major with a double minor in South Asian studies and religious studies. While there, I was editor-in-chief of The Wooster Voice, a class representative to Scot Council, a member of WOODs, WooCatholic, and Phi Alpha Theta. I worked in the Global Engagement Office, as a research assistant, and with The Lyric Theater, a local nonprofit.

I joined the Digital and Visual Storytelling Pathway because I wanted a way to make the complex thoughts and ideas I learned in classes accessible to a wider audience. Some of the best ways to do this are through digital or visual means like documentaries, posters, or websites. In the future, I plan to become a professor and would like to incorporate different methods of communicating information into my classes by creating assignments that have digital or visual component instead of simply writing another paper. After Wooster, I will be pursuing a master’s degree in Climate Change and Sustainable Development with the School for International Training (SIT) in Iceland and Zanzibar.
