As a 2023 graduate, I majored in Anthropology, double minored with Political Science & Music, and of course took a Pathway in Activism & Social Change. On campus I worked as an Event Coordinator & Tour Guide with our Admissions office. I was one of two co-founders of Wooster Adoptee Student Union and held officer positions with Blackbirds Irish Dance, Sociology/Anthropology club, Fiber Arts Society, and the Scot Marching Band. I was also involved in the Symphonic Band, A Capella, Amnesty International, and the Community Breakfast Program Service House

I joined the Activism & Social Change Pathway because I was passionate about the topic and had participated in various events. However, I wanted a more focused, classroom oriented experience to back this passion as well. I was also attracted to the application of these skills through a guided, experiential learning opportunity (which I was able to do through the APEX Fellowship grant). It definitely benefitted my path as it exposed me to different work environments and opportunities. It was a great program where I was able to cumulate the different skill sets I had learned, as well as talk to people with similar experiences and aspirations.

I am currently still in the Wooster community! I work in our Admissions office as the Coordinator for Diversity Outreach. After my time here I will pursue a further degree and continue to work to make higher education accessible to a variety of demographics.
