I was an Art History major and a Spanish and Museum Studies double minor. I joined the Pathway because I knew, as early as my freshman year at the College, that I wanted to work with museums. I became a volunteer at the Wayne County Historical Society in 2023, where I assisted with cataloging the collection. In Spring 2024, I began an Experiential Learning opportunity with Collections Research: Pella (MUST 39901), and I was able to conduct research on objects from the College of Wooster’s 1967-80 excavation of a site in Pella, Jordan.

Thanks to the Pathway, and my hands-on learning opportunities, I am doing an internship with the National Council for Preservation Education, sponsored by the National Park Service. I am currently applying for law schools, and I intend to concentrate on Art & Museum Law, in order to assist museums with their legal needs, including repatriation, deaccession, and maintaining nonprofit status.
