The Event Coordinator will play a key role in planning and executing event operations and managing registered teams.
Planning Phase Responsibilities:
Track key milestones and outstanding tasks.
Serve as the main point of contact for all teams, managing communication and engagement.
Oversee the tournament’s digital platform and registration system.
Coordinate compliance requirements with USA Rugby for all participants.
Manage accommodation logistics, including team reservations, inventory, and comp room allocation.
Assist in event site planning, including map layout, tent allocations, vendor coordination, and setup logistics.
Event Week Responsibilities:
Support Tournament Directors with on-site operations.
Lead the team check-in process and assist with team and client inquiries.
Manage the distribution of pre-purchased and event-day items.
Coordinate volunteer scheduling and management.
Requirements:
Must be available on-site in Tampa, FL during the entire event week (March 29– April 6, 2026).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Interest in sports management, event operations, or related field
