Under general supervision, the intern is responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, implementing, staffing, overseeing, promotion/marketing, budgeting, evaluating, and administrating year-round and seasonal recreation and park programs, services, and special events; supervision of part-time staff and coordination and oversight of vendors; may assume responsibility for other program areas and department operations, as assigned. Employee is required to perform all other similar or related duties. There are (2) positions available- one with a Therapeutic Recreation focus, another with a recreation management focus. May act as the Summer Days/ Beach Supervisor in their absence. This is a seasonal, full time (35 hours/week) position for the months of June-August).
