We want to strengthen democratic values, promote international cooperation, and advance human achievement through music and arts activities. We aim to help our community to help itself. We believe in the people of Kosovo, they have the vision to see what is needed, the creativity to overcome problems and the hard work to make a change in their society. We will give a helping hand to our community, by supporting groups and projects that make a direct improvement to people’s lives. We will fund work that unlocks the passion and potential of Kosovars and we will provide a space for young talents to unleash their creativity in music and arts. We will only fund NGOs, ensuring that every cent is used to help communities to help themselves. We will bring together our resources and our expertise to bring forth the vision and hard work of bright-minded people across Kosovo to fund their efforts in order to bring opportunities.”

All Isla internships are customized to your particular academic interests and skill set. Please note, it is the responsibility of the intern to check with their institution to be sure that, as a student, all requirements are met before they accept an Isla internship position.

Hear from 2024 Isla Alumni: “I would describe it as a unique and rewarding experience for anyone interested in exploring the world and helping people. My time in Kosovo was one that I’ll never forget, as the knowledge I gained and the people I met will both have special places in my heart.”

“The internship experience was one that will open your worldview and expose you to new challenges that you will only experience interning abroad. Interning through Isla will develop not only memories, but skills that will transfer into the workforce.”

“I would describe this experience as a once in a lifetime opportunity. It was very rewarding and it really shows what you can do by yourself in another country. It is something that I think everyone should do.”
