The experiential learning activity for this lab will be work with a community
partner. As examples, the 2021 and 2024 classes worked with the
Wilderness Center and the Killbuck Watershed Land Trust, respectively.
Students in this lab will work with to address the community partner’s
specific needs. This may involve activities such as field research, creating
interpretive signage, increasing social media presence and community
outreach, mapping, or other tasks that the partner organization requests.
