Where I Went, What I Learned; Wooster Shares Their Transformative Travel Experiences – Steve Crawford

Steve Crawford: Assistant Vice President | Alumni & Family Engagement

“I am not the same having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world” — author unknown

Where I Went:

China, Hong Kong, & Japan

Why I Went:

College choir tour … I had only flown once prior to my flight to Japan!

What I Learned:

Before the choir tour, I never anticipated that standing on the Great Wall of China with 60 friends would inspire a love of travel. Since the trip, I’ve visited more than 20 countries and have a very long “short” list of countries yet to visit. You can always return to your hometown and be with your family, but you cannot create lifelong memories of new adventures if you don’t take that first trip.
